More than 7000 visitors passed the entrance gates during the two days of the first ever Bank Windhoek Kidz Fun Fair 2009. With more than 60 exhibitors, visitors could spend hours strolling over the trade fair.

Lots of stands offered activities where children could get engaged like Sams Hobbies & Toys shop gave away a price to a lucky winner every hour and there was a battle striker competition, Franco Namibian Cultural Center offered free French classes, story-telling, art competition and movies, Bank Windhoek had dancing, hula hoop and art competitions, pop a balloon and autograph signing, Windhoek Schlachterei offered sack races. Balance and Business offered free dancing sessions for kids, Namibia Dairies did face painting, yummy art, where kids could create their own smoothies, art competition and they took photos of kids and printed them and at OTB Sports there was a football shoot out and basketball competition.

The Montessori Children’s Room was there for kids to experience and play under qualified supervision. The Windhoek Schlachterei Jagtersman, Simba man, the Namibia Dairies Cow, the Colgate Beaverman and the Clinic Clowns played with the kids the whole day.

The children also really enjoyed the entertainment program that was put together especially for them with Stefan Ludik’s Solo performance, dances from Wacka Dance Academy, Crete Gymnastic Club, Studio of Modern Art and Waldorf Drumming and the Mr. and Miss Kidz Fun Fair fashion show...
